Betta Grower Selective Herbicide is used for the control of broadleaf weeds in lawns and is a blend of MCPA and Dicamba and forms a very efficient method of weed control. Broadleaf weeds can be described as those that are flat weeds and often have white or yellow flowers and include unwanted clovers, bindii, milk thistle and dandelions. This product will not harm Couch, Kentucky Bluegrass, or any fine grasses when used at recommended strength, however it should not be used on lawns that contain Buffalo, Strawberry Clover, Lipia or Dicondra.
Protection Of Crops, Native And Other Non Target Plants
This product is harmful to many plants. Avoid direct spraying of useful plants. Avoid spraying under windy conditions. Vines, tomatoes and bananas are extremely sensitive to this spray and can be killed or seriously injured by drifting mist. Most flowers, vegetables and cultivated crops are susceptible.
Do not spray if weeds are wilted or if rain is likely within 6 hours. Do not mow for 7 days after treatment. The best time to kill weeds is when they are growing strongly and higher success can be achieved by spraying rather than using a watering can.
